Tennessee Titans: Chris Johnson

The man known as CJ2K was a monster in the 2009 season. He ran for 2,000 yards and 14 touchdowns that season and the Titans were one of the most exciting stories of the second half of the season.

Tennessee started the year 0-6 before Vince Young and Johnson rallied the Titans to finish the year by winning eight of their final 10 games. Johnson was as fast as a bullet and he was coming off a very good rookie season in which he ran for over 1,200 yards and nine touchdowns.

It’s no secret that most running backs have short shelf lives, and Johnson wasn’t an exception. After the 2009 season, he was just a slightly above average running back for the remainder of his time in Tennessee with a few glimpses of greatness. In 2011, he barely eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing and by 2014 he was with the New York Jets and only rushed for 663 yards.

He played a vital role as a complementary back on the Cardinals 2015 team that saw Arizona make a deep playoff run. For the most part, though, Johnson was great for about three seasons with a historic season in between.
