1. Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers (vs. HOU)

Austin Ekeler had somewhat of a down week last week by his standards, carrying the ball 12 times for 67 yards and a touchdown, adding two catches for 17 yards. The Chargers were limiting his usage after the Week 14 injury he sustained against the Bengals. There’s no denying Ekeler’s fantasy dominance though, as he’s the RB2 in PPR leagues so far in 2021 only behind Jonathan Taylor.

Ekeler, assuming he’s retaking his full workload, is poised to rebound in a major way this week, facing off against the Houston Texans, who allow the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs due to their rush defense that ranks dead last in the NFL.

Ekeler will likely finish in the top-10 among running backs, and there is an obvious path to him finishing as the overall RB1 this week due to his high volume and the dream matchup he gets this week. Ekeler could lead you to the fantasy football Super Bowl this week, and is a must-play in daily fantasy leagues.
