Every NFL team’s most underrated player of all time

Jacksonville Jaguars: Allen Hurns
The Jaguars may not have been very good for any long period of time, but at least their offense was fun to watch in the mid-2010s when Blake Bortles was just letting it fly every Sunday.
Allen Robinson was the receiver who got the most attention for the Jaguars at the time, but his running mate on the opposite side of the field was Allen Hurns. Together, the two Allens were one of the best receiving duos in the NFL. Robinson got a lot of the accolades, but Hurns put up respectable numbers in his own right.
Hurns caught 51 passes for 677 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie in 2014. He topped 1,000 yards on 64 receptions and caught 10 touchdowns in his second season in 2015. That season would be his peak in the league, as injuries slowed him down for the remainder of his career. He missed five games in 2016, and then six games in 2017. He left Jacksonville for Dallas in 2018, but he wasn’t a factor in the Cowboys’ offense. He only caught 20 passes in his one year with Dallas before going to Miami in 2019.
Regardless of how his stints went outside of Jacksonville, there was a two-year stretch where Hurns was one of the best No. 2 receivers in football.
