Picks No. 4 through 6

30. . Edge. New York Jets. Kayvon Thibodeaux. 4. player

In what is certain to be one of the worst NFL games in recent memory, the New York Jets will take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. For the Jets, this matchup was made worse on Wednesday, as it was announced that Robert Saleh could miss the game after being placed in COVID protocol.

New York has been terrible for quite some time, but luckily for them, they have two top-8 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. With this first pick, here at No. 4, the Jets add an elite edge rusher in Kayvon Thibodeaux, a player some feel could go No. 1 overall, and could completely revamp their defensive line.

player. 31. . Quarterback. New York Giants. Kenny Pickett. 5

The New York Giants are still technically alive in the playoff race in the NFC, but the reality is, they are going to be picking in the top-5 when all is said and done. In fact, they currently hold back-to-back picks in the top-6, which is crucial considering how many issues they have on both sides of the ball.

With pick No. 5, New York shocks the NFL landscape, replacing Daniel Jones with Pitt signal-caller Kenny Pickett. It is likely there will be a change at general manager this offseason for New York, and while Dave Gettleman loved Jones, the next man up likely makes a change.

Safety. New York Giants. Kyle Hamilton. 6. player. 31.

With pick No. 6 overall, the New York Giants are back on the clock, and there are still a ton of elite players left for them to add to the roster. New York may be strong in the secondary, but that does not mean they should pass up on the elite defensive backs in this class, especially Notre Dame star Kyle Hamilton.

Some mock drafts have Hamilton going all the way at No. 2 next April, so to get him at No. 6 overall would be seen as a major win for this franchise. With a new quarterback and elite safety in the fold, you have to think this is a great haul for the G-Men.
