2. Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs

Mecole Hardman has yet to really find his footing as the Chiefs’ number two receiver this season, but he has had good games of 76, 63, and 62 yards this season. With the Chiefs going through a bit of a COVID scare, Hardman could be in line for increased usage.

Tyreek Hill was activated off the COVID list, and Travis Kelce may be next. With Patrick Mahomes’ top two targets possibly at less than 100%, Hardman could see a bigger role in a big game against the Steelers.

1. DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

DeVonta Smith has had a volatile rookie season, having blowup games for 122 yards, but having down games for 15 yards. With the running quarterback Jalen Hurts at the helm, there’s no predicting what the Eagles’ passing attack will look like on any given day.

However, the matchup against the Giants is a great one for Smith and the rest of the Eagles offense. They are the 19th-ranked secondary and have proved to be very beatable in 2021. He’s a safe start at flex this week and a likely bargain in DFS.
