Teddy Bridgewater, Denver Broncos

While it would likely be wise for him to consider retirement for the benefit of his health, Teddy Bridgewater could be a decent option for the Las Vegas Raiders. During his time with the Denver Broncos, Bridgewater has proven he can be a very solid starting quarterback option for any team that is trying to figure out its future.

Bridgewater has been very efficient this season. He doesn’t have the strongest arm in the NFL, but he’s been able to give the Broncos some solid starts.

This year, Bridgewater has completed 66.9 percent of his passes for 3,052 yards and 18 touchdowns while only throwing seven interceptions. He may be a bit of a game manager, but as he has shown over the past few seasons since leaving Minnesota, he can help his team win.

Over the past two years, with the Carolina Panthers and Broncos, Bridgewater has thrown for 6,785 yards and 33 touchdowns while completing 68.1 percent of his passes. That said, Bridgewater has also thrown for 18 interceptions as well.

Bridgewater should consider his own future and his health when making any and all decisions, but if he’s determined to continue playing for as long as possible, he could do a lot worse than the Raiders. Las Vegas would provide him with an opportunity to continue to show that he belongs in the NFL.

For the Raiders, Bridgewater wouldn’t represent a long-term option, but rather someone who could help put the team in the best position for the long run. He could help this team be a decent winner while they determine what’s next.
