If the Vikings fire Mike Zimmer right now, they can interview these 3 perfect candidates

Doug Pederson will have his pick of whatever team he decides to go coach for
It sounds weird to say this, but the best potential head-coaching candidate on the market for 2022 is former Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Doug Pederson. It may have gone to hell in a hand basket during his final year in Philadelphia, but he nearly replaced Adam Gase as the New York Jets head coach, a job that ultimately went to Robert Saleh last cycle.
What Pederson will provide is a vision and a direction to whatever team he agrees to join. Again, he is smart enough to realize he only has one more shot to be an NFL head coach, and he better not blow it. This is why he will likely prioritize going to a strong organization structurally to give himself the best chance to build a winner. Quarterback concerns aside, Minnesota clearly provides that organizational stability a proven head coach like Pederson would want to sink his teeth into.
Ultimately, Pederson will have his choice of any job. He could venture into chaos to lead the Chicago Bears, the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Las Vegas Raiders just as easily as he could look for stability in places like Denver, Minnesota, Seattle, and to some degree, Carolina. If the Vikings want to win the offseason, they must hire the best head-coaching candidate, which is Pederson.
Though he may want to go coach elsewhere, it would serve the Vikings to prioritize hiring Pederson to replace Zimmer as their next head coach.
