2. Mecole Hardman

Mecole Hardman is another player that could be playing his final season in Kansas City. Hardman has been so disappointing three seasons with the Chiefs. Despite having excellent speed, the 23-year-old receiver has 117 receptions, 1,635 yards and 12 touchdowns in those three seasons. This season, Hardman has been non-existent with only one touchdown and seeing his role diminish in recent weeks.

The third-year receiver does not carry a lofty price tag, but he has been one of the most disappointing players on the Chiefs roster. Hardman has a team option in 2022, but it would be surprising if the Chiefs do not exercise that option. Kansas City could look into drafting a wide receiver in the later rounds or sign a low-cost free agent to give Mahomes another weapon to better complement Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.
