Running Back 1: Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,300)

Ronald Jones had a solid game as his first game as the Bucs’ starter. He totaled 65 yards on the ground and ran for a touchdown, finishing as a solid RB2 for fantasy purposes. His dominating of the snaps over Ke’Shawn Vaughn is a promising sign for his Week 17 outlook.

Jones gets the Jets’ horrendous run defense in what is one of the more favorable matchups of the week. With Tampa likely cruising to a victory, expect a lot of clock-killing work for Jones against a 30th-ranked run defense. He’s a solid RB1 this week.

Running Back 2: Darrel Williams, Kansas City Chiefs ($5,800)

Darrel Williams excelled as the Chiefs’ lead back when Clyde Edwards-Helaire missed time due to injury. In fact, during that span of games earlier in the year, he was the RB4 in fantasy points in PPR leagues. He’s poised to reprise that role this week with ‘CEH’ likely missing this week with a shoulder injury.

Williams being available for under $6,000 is a bargain, as he’s likely to see a top-10 finish with his ability and his workhorse role for the Chiefs, especially in the passing game. He’s also a RB1 this week.
