4. Aaron Rodgers will throw for over 300 yards

Rodgers did a nice job protecting the ball last week with three interceptions against zero interceptions against Cleveland’s talented secondary. The downside to his performance is that he only threw for 202 yards on 34 pass attempts.

Green Bay needs their MVP quarterback to average more than 5.9 yards per completion if they’re going to be successful this week. They don’t have the talent on the outside to match Minnesota throw-for-throw, but the Packers need to come up with a couple of big plays to open the full playbook up for head coach Matt LaFleur.

At the very least, Rodgers has to strike some fear in the hearts of Minnesota’s safeties by taking some shots over the top. Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer isn’t afraid to let his corners play bump and run single coverage on the outside. Rodgers and his receivers need to win a few of those matchups to get their offense back on track.

Rodgers isn’t going to put up video games against Zimmer’s defense this week, but going over 300 yards in the air should be easily achievable for one of the all-time greats. Minnesota can live with Rodgers getting to 300, but if he flirts with 400 it’s a real problem for the Vikings.
