The New York Giants had -10 passing yards in a 29-3 loss to the Bears. Yes, those Bears. The ones who are coached by Matt Nagy, a coach who is almost certainly about to be fired. And yes, starting quarterback Mike Glennon managed negative passing yards.

Head coach Joe Judge looks likely to return for a third season in charge. Those who watched New York play football this week and this season aren’t sure that’s such a good idea.

Everything about the Giants in 2021 stunk and things don’t appear to smell any better in 2022.

Judge was hired as head coach in New York in 2020 and he went on to post a 6-10 record. It wasn’t great, but it looked like a starting point.

A year later, it looks like a high-point with the franchise sliding backward in nearly every way. They haven’t progressed. They’re 4-12 going into the final week of the season, so they’re guaranteed to finish with a worse record than last year.
