College basketball Week 9 predictions for every Top 25 game
Huge matchups in the SEC and Big 12 litter this week’s Top 25 games. Here are some predictions for how each contest will play out.
One big thing that has emerged over the first two months of the college basketball season is that the two best conferences in the country are the SEC and Big 12. The leagues account for seven of the 15 teams mentioned in my personal power rankings this week, a figure that likely won’t change much due to the respective depth of those leagues.
The SEC and Big 12 also combined for 10 spots in this week’s AP Top 25 poll with three more teams receiving votes, a truly impressive display. As such, this week’s Top 25 games are loaded with matchups from these two conferences, and we will predict those games (as well as all of the other Top 25 matchups from Week 9) below.
