2022 NFL Mock Draft: Houston Texans pass on a QB, stick with Davis Mills

Picks No. 29 and 30

Kansas City Chiefs. Drake Jackson. 29. player. 124. . Edge

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again a team to beat in the AFC, and they shook their early-season woes off and have been dominating down the stretch. Come playoff time, they are going to be tested, however, as there are some teams in the AFC that could really give them trouble as they try to make a third straight trip to the Super Bowl.

Looking at their roster, they may need some help off the edge next offseason, which is why Drake Jackson from USC could be a target here at No. 29 overall. Jackson has a tremendous career with the Trojans, and plays with a very high motor, making him an intriguing prospect this April.

50. . Wide Receiver. Detroit Lions. Treylon Burks. 30. player

With the Los Angeles Rams trading for Matthew Stafford this offseason, the Detroit Lions hold their first-round pick in 2022, a pick that is currently No. 30 overall. Earlier in the first round, the Lions selected a talented edge rusher, and here, they turn their attention to the offensive side of the ball.

If they decide to keep Jared Goff as their franchise guy, and he has been playing better, they have to get him some help on the outside. One wide receiver who is ticketed for the first round is Arkansas star Treylon Burks, who could be gone by now but would be an excellent addition in the Motor City.
