5 teams that Baker Mayfield could be traded to if Browns move on from former No. 1 pick

The Denver Broncos still have not appropriately replaced Peyton Manning
One organization that has had a miserable time getting competent quarterback play for years has been the Denver Broncos. Outside of three quarters of the Peyton Manning run and a few years of Jake Plummer, the Broncos have not been able to effectively replace John Elway in the long-term. Teddy Bridgewater is not the answer and neither is Drew Lock. Would Mayfield make a difference?
From a prestige and accolades standpoint, Mayfield has shown he can hang in a tough quarterback division from his time in the AFC North. However, Mayfield is probably going to be closer to what Denver had in Case Keenum than what the Broncos had with Plummer. Denver needs an upgrade at quarterback, but Mayfield is not the player the Broncos need to trade for.
The Seattle Seahawks could be a very different team heading into next season
It really feels like the end of an era up in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Seahawks have not been this bad in years. Head coach Pete Carroll might be done after Week 18, and franchise quarterback Russell Wilson may want to relocate somewhere new to play the final third of his Pro Football Hall of Fame career. Wilson will not go to Cleveland, but Mayfield to Seattle is possible.
Mayfield would be the ideal stop-gap quarterback to come in and serve as the Seahawks starter while they commence a most painful rebuild. Though there is a good chance he will flourish in a new environment, Seattle should not be expected to compete for much of anything in 2022. Odds are Mayfield will need to join a third team to get back to good, but Seattle can be a big help to him.
The Seahawks fit is intriguing, but it all hinges on what their ownership wants to do going forward.
