The Las Vegas Raiders are interesting, especially if Jim Harbaugh takes over

One team that could be interested in trading for Christian McCaffrey are the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite being a team playing for the right to get into the AFC playoffs in the final game of the regular season, the Silver and Black have not had a good rushing attack this year. They rank bottom-eighth in the league and could finish near last with a terrible showing in primetime.

Given that the Raiders are in the market for a full-time head coach, they could potentially bring in Jim Harbaugh from the Michigan Wolverines. While it did not work out for his younger brother playing for Coach Harbaugh in Ann Arbor, we can never overlook the Stanford connection. Even if Harbaugh stays put, the Raiders have the available space and the need to address running back.

The Buffalo Bills are in dire need of a running back in the worst way possible

Despite having a top-10 rushing attack in the league, the Buffalo Bills have to come to grips with the fact that Josh Allen doing everything for them offensively is not sustainable. They cannot overwork their most important player since Jim Kelly into the ground well before his 30th birthday. If the Bills bow out in the AFC playoffs well before the title bout, they could hone in on McCaffrey.

Simply put, the Bills’ championship window is now. If they cannot get back to the AFC Championship Game because Allen runs out of gas with him doing anything and everything offensively, then the Bills will have to seriously consider trading for McCaffrey. Keep in mind that head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane once hailed from Charlotte…

While the Bills and the Raiders could use McCaffrey, he may be a risk they are not willing to take.
