Scouting Report. player. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Michigan. David Ojabo. 7. 31

Giants address the other line with David Ojabo after taking OL in the top five

(Pick via Bears) – New York’s defense, though a bit overshadowed by how bad the offense and discipline on the roster has been this year, is their strong point. What the Giants lack is a player who can consistently disrupt as a rusher. Ojabo won’t slip under the radar in the draft like he might’ve playing opposite Hutchinson at Michigan.

8. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Georgia. IDL. Jordan Davis. 44

Falcons keep Jordan Davis in the state and beef up D-line

Grady Jarrett has been a great, unheralded star for Atlanta over the years but the rest of the defensive front has been lacking for some time. Jordan Davis isn’t lacking in anything with elite mobility for someone in a 350-pound frame. With some conditioning, he can be an interior game-wrecker.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Charles Cross. 45. Mississippi State. 9. player

Broncos protect a new QB acquired via free agency or trade with Charles Cross

Yes, the Broncos are clearly missing out at quarterback and that’s holding a good overall roster otherwise back. With that said, I expect them to make a splash outside of the draft at the position. Subsequently, they shore up the offensive line in front of that player with an underrated gem in Cross.

Scouting Report. 10. Pick Analysis. S. Notre Dame. Kyle Hamilton. player. 30

The Jets love star safeties and Kyle Hamilton fits the bill

(Pick via Seahawks) – Between Jamal Adams (now in Seattle) and Marcus Maye, the Jets have been great at identifying high-end safeties. Though it may not be the biggest need, the positional value for a player of Kyle Hamilton’s talent is too great to pass up and they could use his efforts in a big way moving forward.

Scouting Report. Matt Corral. player. Pick Analysis. QB. Ole Miss. 11. 58

Matt Corral can be the franchise quarterback of the Washington Football Team

Matt Corral is the QB1 for a weak draft class at the position in my book. However, that makes him valuable at No. 10 for Washington. Taylor Heinicke has been fun to watch but his ceiling is very well defined and not all that high. As such, the dual-threat ability and accuracy of Corral raises what the Football Team can accomplish.

Pick Analysis. CB. Andrew Booth Jr.. Scouting Report. Clemson. 12. player. 60

Vikings may not have Zimmer, but still take a first-round CB with Andrew Booth Jr.

The expectation is that Mike Zimmer will be out in Minnesota and, as such, we’ll likely see a change in strategy. But to honor the likely soon-to-be-former head coach (sarcasm alarm), they take a cornerback that they desperately need. Booth has elite traits and could be a stud for a position group that lacks a future.
