3. Amari Cooper will get 10+ targets

Cedrick Wilson led the Cowboys in yards receiving last week with an impressive 119-yard outing. That was a nice regular-season story, but expect Prescott to go back to his big-names in the postseason.

That equals a bigger target share for Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. Cooper, in particular, is a good bet to explode against the 49ers’ secondary. He’s going to put a ton of pressure on rookie Ambry Thomas and veteran Josh Norman whenever he’s permitted to work against single coverage.

The 49ers will try to scheme Cooper into double-coverage whenever possible, but Prescott is going to target him whenever that isn’t the case. Look for the former Alabama star to comfortably land with double-digit targets in what should be a very productive afternoon.

It’s very possible Cooper will go over 100-yards receiving, but the 49ers’ secondary might set up relatively conservatively to prevent big plays. That makes betting on Cooper to get 10+ targets a much safer prediction.
