2022 NFL Mock Draft: Draft order set for first 18 picks

Picks No. 23 through 25

player. 28. . Wide Receiver. Las Vegas Raiders. Jameson Williams. 23

It took a four-game winning streak to close the regular season to do so, but the Las Vegas Raiders are going back to the playoffs for only the second time since the 2002 NFL season. Beating the Los Angeles Chargers in overtime, Las Vegas claimed the No. 5 overall seed in the AFC and will travel to Cincinnati to look for their first playoff victory in nearly two decades.

During the College Football Playoff national title game, Jameson Williams went down with a torn ACL, but that should not stop the Raiders from adding him at pick No. 23. They certainly need more help at the wide receiver position, and with former Alabama star Henry Ruggs III gone, they add another member of the Crimson Tide here.

32. . Cornerback. Arizona Cardinals. Andrew Booth Jr.. 24. player

The Arizona Cardinals will play the final Wild Card game of the round on Monday night, as they travel to LaLa Land to take on division rival Los Angeles. It has been an up-and-down season for the Cardinals, but they finished the year at 11-6, and have a legitimate chance to make it to the Divisional Round when all is said and done.

Looking at the roster, they are going to need more help on defense next season, and in Andrew Booth Jr., they get the third-best cornerback in this draft class. That secondary was beaten far too often this past season, and in Booth, they get a Day 1 starter from an elite program in Clemson.

25. player. 56. . Linebacker. Cincinnati Bengals. Devin Lloyd

On Saturday afternoon, the Cincinnati Bengals will kick off the Super Wild Card Weekend, as they play host to the Las Vegas Raiders in what should be frigid temperatures. Second-year quarterback Joe Burrow had an outstanding season for the Bengals, and 2021 first-round wideout, Ja’Marr Chase, could bring home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

In April, the Bengals will be picking towards the bottom of the first round, but they can still improve their defense in a big way by adding Utah linebacker Devin Lloyd. This is a guy who flies all over the field, and for as good as the Bengals offense was this season, their defense can use that much work.
