2022 NFL Mock Draft: Draft order set for first 18 picks

Picks No. 29 and 30

Wide Receiver. Kansas City Chiefs. David Bell. 29. player. 124.

Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs are one of the best teams in football and will embark on a journey this weekend for their third straight Super Bowl appearance. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been outstanding in the playoffs throughout his career, and he will start his latest journey to the big game against a legend in Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Despite having a ton of weapons on the offensive side of the ball, the Chiefs could stand to add more this April, and they do so by adding David Bell from Purdue at pick No. 29 overall. Bell is an outstanding pass catcher who can stretch the field, and while some feel he could go on Day 2, he would be another dangerous weapon for the best quarterback in football.

30. player. 48. . Offensive Tackle. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Darian Kinnard

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers clinched the No. 2 seed in the NFC, and all signs point to their 44-year old quarterback being named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player. Tom Brady has been outstanding once again this season, and when all is said and done, he could win his second Super Bowl in as many years with the Bucs franchise.

Picking this late in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Bucs should focus on their offensive line, and Kentucky star Darian Kinnard should be a starting left tackle right away. Tampa Bay has other holes, but protecting Brady is priority No. 1, and he should be back for another go-around in 2022.
