After getting fired, Joe Judge treats former Giants coaches and their families to beer and pizza
Former New York Giants head coach Joe Judge hosted fellow former coaches and their families for a special night.
Things simply didn’t work out for Joe Judge and the New York Giants. Earlier this week, after yet another disappointing season for the NFC East team, Judge was fired from his position as head coach.
So, how is Judge taking the news? While he’s undoubtedly bummed that he’ll no longer be leading out the troops on Sunday, Judge decided to thank his fellow coaches that were let go and their families by having them over for a night of pizza and beer.
Joe Judge is taking the high road after being fired by the Giants
New York finished the season at 4-13, dead last in the division standings.
Having said that, people are also giving Judge plenty of props for this move. There was some speculation that he could potentially return for one last go in 2022 to save his job for the long haul, but the Giants decided to cut him loose after all.
You can’t argue Judge is a good dude for this move, but he just wasn’t getting things done as a football coach. The 2021 season was nothing short of a nightmare for the Giants. The offense was a complete and total joke. As soon as Daniel Jones went down with his neck injury, both Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon were tough to watch running the offense.
Now, Judge is out of a job, but he’s thanking those close to him for the help and memories the best way he knows how: good beer and delicious slices.
