With a possible return to the NFL on the way for Jim Harbaugh, could he end up making his way to the Minnesota Vikings?

With so many changes on the way for NFL teams, the searches for head coaches continue to heat up. Over in Minnesota, the Vikings wasted no time in firing Mike Zimmer after the team’s 2021 season came to a close.

Multiple names have been linked to the opening and now we’ve got a new one for you: Jim Harbaugh. The idea of Harbaugh’s return to the NFL has been floated around over the past month, and Pro Football Talk thinks the Vikings could make sense for him.

Could we see Jim Harbaugh make the jump back up to the NFL this winter?

Per Pro Football Talk, Harbaugh is hungry to win a Super Bowl. He made it to the big game previously with the San Francisco 49ers, but the team suffered a loss to the Baltimore Ravens with the Lombardi Trophy on the line.

Harbaugh eventually made his way back to his alma mater to take charge of things for the Michigan Wolverines. Things haven’t gone according to plan for him, as the team hasn’t been quite as dominant as people were hoping they’d be.

With that said, Michigan ended its long losing streak against Ohio State this season and they earned a trip to the College Football Playoff, ultimately losing to eventual champions Georgia in the semifinals.

Now, it’s up in the air if Harbaugh will return to Ann Arbor next fall or not. If he doesn’t, it’d surely be for a job in the NFL to try and chase those Super Bowl dreams of his. Will it end up being with Minnesota? Stay tuned, Vikings fans.
