Packers bold predictions, Aaron Rodgers

1. Aaron Rodgers will throw for over 400 yards

The 49ers successfully overcame Dak Prescott last weekend but stopping Rodgers is going to be a challenge that San Francisco can’t navigate. San Francisco’s defense is predicated on bringing pressure against opposing quarterbacks without blitzes, but last weekend’s injury to Nick Bosa could put a big dent in those plans at Lambeau.

Giving Rodgers time to survey his options in the pocket is a death sentence for an opposing secondary. The Packers will work hard to establish their ground game in the first quarter, but that’s only going to make Rodgers more dangerous via play action in the last three quarters.

He won’t need to throw the ball a ton to get to 400 yards passing on the day. Look for Rodgers to have one of the most efficient days he’s enjoyed all season in terms of air yards per target. Big plays will be the name of the game for Rodgers on the day.

Next. Aaron Rodgers is mad at the Packers' coaching staff (again). dark

That’s how San Francisco’s season is going to end. Rodgers has enjoyed an MVP caliber season and he is going to continue to play at a high level against the 49ers. The Packers will continue to build momentum behind their star signal-caller.
