Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor was actually carded at the bar where he delivered the game ball to fans following their Wild Card Round win.

The Cincinnati Bengals, coached by Zac Taylor, earned their first playoff win in 31 years after they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 26-19 in the Wild Card Round. After the game, Taylor handed the game ball to a group of fans at a local bar. As it turns out, Taylor had difficulty getting into the establishment.

During an appearance on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah revealed that Taylor was stopped by the bouncer at the bar, where he was asked to show his ID. You can take a listen to Uzomah tell the story in the tweet below:

That bouncer was definitely not watching the game, as they were doing their job. We are going to need to hear Taylor’s side of this story.

Speaking of the bar, here is video of Taylor handing out the game fall to fans at the local bar.

Cincinnati had been starving for a playoff win ever since they defeated the Houston Oilers 41-14 back in 1990. They had gone 0-8 in their subsequent playoff games, until they beat the Raiders on Super Wild Card weekend.

The Bengals had to pull out the victory at the very end of the game. Las Vegas had a chance to tie the game with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. They reached the red zone, but on fourth-and-goal, linebacker Germaine Pratt intercepted a Derek Carr pass to clinch the victory for Cincinnati.

Now, the Bengals are set to take on the Tennessee Titans, who earned the top seed in the AFC and a bye in the Wild Card Round. If Cincinnati were to pull off the victory on Saturday, Jan. 22, they will reach the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 1988.
