Some breaking news has arrived from the English Premier League, with Anthony Martial heading to Sevilla for the rest of the season on loan.

The drama has officially come to an end for Manchester United and disgruntled forward Anthony Martial. The Frenchman had made it more than clear he wanted to leave Old Trafford, as he’s barely seen any playing time this season.

With his minutes becoming less and less, he and his agent were actively looking for a new home. Now, according to insider Fabrizio Romano, Martial has gotten his wish and he’s La Liga-bound to suit up for Sevilla for the rest of the campaign.

Sevilla lands Manchester United striker Anthony Martial on a season-long loan

Things just weren’t working out for Martial over in Manchester, and now fans are hopeful that increased action over at Sevilla can help him moving forward. It’s important to note this isn’t a permanent deal for Martial, with him set to return to United next campaign.

Despite Martial going through some difficult times over the past year with the club, the Man United faithful still appreciate the incredible memories he’s provided. His unreal goal against Liverpool (seen above) at Old Trafford will never be forgotten, with the call from Martin Tyler sending things over the top.

Remember the cracker against Everton in the FA Cup semifinals late to give the Red Devils the win? Of course you do. That goal sent MUFC to Wembley, with the team eventually taking down Crystal Palace to capture the hardware.

Martial will now look to regain his form with Sevilla and return to the Theatre of Dreams this summer. It goes without saying, but United fans will be hoping Martial will have an incredible amount of success the rest of the way.
