Tom Brady took to Twitter to thank the New England Patriots after he announced his retirement on Tuesday morning.

The drama has officially come to a close. Earlier on Tuesday, folks were up in arms when Tom Brady posted a lengthy retirement post, but there was no mention of the New England Patriots. What in the heck was going on?

While people were quick to say that Brady has no love for the organization or the fans, that’s not the case, as Brady just took to social media to thank New England as a whole, while telling Pats nation that he loves them all.

New England fans can rest easy after seeing Tom Brady’s latest Twitter post

While things didn’t end on the best of terms for Brady and the New England front office, you can’t just wipe away 20 years of incredible memories. Brady helped the Pats win the Super Bowl six times, earning MVP honors in five of those victories.

We don’t have to tell you how many people were devastated when they saw the news that Brady was leaving Foxborough to sign a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Things got even more strange for people in the Boston area when they saw Brady lead the Bucs to the Super Bowl last season.

Now, Pats fans will have to wait and see if Brady ends up signing a one-day contract with the team to officially retire with the Patriots. Regardless of if that happens or not, Brady will always be loved by all the New England supporters. We know that those feelings are mutual per Brady’s post.
