49ers fan in a coma after attack after NFC Championship Game
A San Francisco 49ers fans is in a coma after he was attacked outside of SoFi Stadium at the NFC Championship Game.
According to the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco 49ers fan Daniel Luna made his way to Sofi Stadium from Oakland over the weekend to watch his favorite team try and advance to the Super Bowl.
Per the Times, Luna was then attacked outside and he was found severely injured in the parking lot. Luna was then rushed to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he’s currently in a coma.

According to local police, there are no suspects from the attack, but an investigation is currently underway. The 49ers were made aware of the situation and condemned the reprehensible actions.
“What happened to Daniel Luna is reprehensible, and we strongly condemn all violence,” the team said in a statement via CBS LA. “We know local authorities are conducting a full investigation and we’re here to support them however we can. Our thoughts and prayers go to Mr. Luna, his family, friends, and the medical team providing him care.”
Now, the 49ers are hoping Luna, who owns a restaurant in Oakland, will be able to make a full recovery. Police are asking anyone who has any information on this to contact them immediately to help out in the case.
