Los Angeles Rams. Odell Beckham Jr.. 1.. player. WR. 51. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Packers have five wide receivers hitting free agency, one of them being star Davante Adams. It will certainly take plenty of cap space for Green Bay to retain Adams, who is undisputedly the top wide receiver on the open market. Whether the Packers keep him or not, the Packers will still need to address their depth.

Perhaps the most notable wide receiver set to hit free agency in the Super Bowl is Odell Beckham Jr. At the start of the season, Beckham was a member of the Cleveland Browns. After recording just 17 receptions for 232 yards and zero touchdowns on 34 targets in six games, Beckham and the Browns agreed to part ways. After being pursued by numerous teams, Beckham chose to sign with the Rams, and it was a perfect fit.

In eight regular-season games, Beckham posted 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns. Beckham was even better in the playoffs, as he caught 19-of-23 passes from Matthew Stafford for 236 yards and a touchdown.

The Packers missed out on signing Beckham midseason, but they have the chance to do so once the 2022 league year begins. It may be hard for them to pry Beckham away from the Rams, considering he said on Friday, Feb. 11 that he’d be willing to sacrifice salary to remain in Los Angeles. Still, it absolutely should not deter the Packers from pursuing him.
