The Los Angeles Rams social media team had time to clap back at their doubters following their Super Bowl 56 win.

The Los Angeles Rams have shown over the years that they were willing to sacrifice draft picks to bring in top talent in hopes of winning their first Super Bowl title since 1999. They did that this year by acquiring quarterback Matthew Stafford in the offseason, trading for Von Miller at the deadline and signing Odell Beckham Jr. in the second half of the season.

Now, the Rams are Super Bowl champions after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 on Sunday. After the game, the team’s Twitter account replied to a tweet from Nov. 1 saying they are all in with a popular meme calling out those who thought that message would not age well.

The social media team took a page out of Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid’s playbook, who tweeted out the same meme after the team traded Ben Simmons to the Brooklyn Nets in the blockbuster for James Harden.

Los Angeles telegraphed they were eying the Lombardi Trophy based off their moves in the past year. It was quite the run for the Rams, especially in the playoffs. They blew out the rival Arizona Cardinals 34-11, defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27 despite blowing a 27-3 lead in the Divisional Round and sent the San Francisco 49ers home in the NFC Championship Game to head to the Super Bowl.

The Rams had the early momentum, taking an early 13-3 lead on receiving touchdowns by Odell Beckham Jr. and Cooper Kupp. Yet, the Bengals bounced back to take a 20-13 lead in the second half. But, the Rams saved the best for last, which was on their final drive.

A lengthy, 19-play drive orchestrated by Stafford resulted in Los Angeles getting in the red zone. Stafford hit Kupp in the end zone to secure the 23-20 win.

The moves paid off for the Rams in the end, as they can call themselves Super Bowl 56 champions.
