With the NFL Draft right around the corner, could Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay front office bring in some more offensive help for Aaron Rodgers?

Everyone is waiting to see what Aaron Rodgers will decide. Will he return to the Green Bay Packers, retire, or potentially suit up for a new team? At this point in time, no one knows what will happen.

However, the Packers are confident Rodgers will be back in 2022 and they’re ready to do whatever is possible to let him know they want to help him win another Super Bowl in town before he calls it a career. So, with the NFL Draft almost here, could the Packers bring in a speedster to catch Rodgers’ eye? That could be the case with Pitt’s Taysir Mack.

NFL Draft projections: Pitt wideout Taysir Mack met with Packers scouts recently

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, Green Bay scouts met with Mack following the  NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Mack, who started his career with Indiana and transferred to Pitt, played in eight games last season and averaged more than 17 yards per reception.

It goes without saying, but wide receiver is also an area of focus for the Packers this offseason. Davante Adams could end up leaving, while the same could be said for the speedy Marquez Valdes-Scantling. If Rodgers returns, though, it’s hard to envision a scenario where Adams leaves as well.

However, this team still needs help at the position and Packers fans remain furious with Gutekunst for not drafting a receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. That was just a slap in the face to Rodgers. Now, though, this team could be ready to go and get some playmakers this April and Mack will certainly be a player to watch.
