In 2022, Team LeBron remains undefeated in five consecutive NBA All-Star Games, a stat that may never be broken by anyone in future games.

Many former NBA stars become coaches in the future, while a handful of the greatest players have become the league’s greatest general managers. Larry Bird, Danny Ainge, Joe Dumars and Jerry West have all impressed in the front office, but LeBron James may blow their front office stats out of the water one day. While James has yet to retire and delve into a post-NBA career, his management moves to build the best All-Star teams has been nothing short of remarkable.

Since the NBA All-Star Game shifted from an East-Wast format to a captain-led team, Team LeBron has gone undefeated in every single game.

James, who has selected All-Stars to join his team the way team captains once did in gym class, has picked the winning lineup every time. James has defeated teams drafted by Steph Curry once, Giannis Antetokounmpo twice, and Kevin Durant twice.

LeBron James could be the best GM every with this impressive All-Star stat

While LeBron has been critiqued for his questionable loyalty to his teams throughout his career, James has been clear that he intends to play in a situation where he is surrounded by optimal talent. He shaped teams around himself in Miami, Cleveland, and even Los Angeles, but the Lakers are currently deadlocked with their current lineup, and there isn’t anything James can do about it at the moment, which frustrates James and Klutch Sports.

Over the weekend, James indicated that the door is open when it comes to a potential return to Cleveland, although he clarified that he is going to play wherever his son, Bronny James, is drafted. Depending on how long father and son are able to play together, the James family could build an incredible superteam around themselves the way James has done throughout his career and in every All-Star Game.

Even though James was forced to take James Harden at the end of the All-Star draft, it all worked out for Team LeBron once again—and it can continue to as long as LeBron is able to manage a team.
