Offensive Lineman. Cincinnati Bengals. Zion Johnson. 31. player. 56.

The Cincinnati Bengals will have a long road ahead of them if they hope to get back to the Super Bowl, especially if they do not fix things along the offensive line. Joe Burrow was sacked way too many times this season, and once again hurt his knee in the Super Bowl, so getting better in front of him has to be priority No. 1 this offseason.

Picking this late in the first round, the Bengals can still get better, as this is a draft class loaded with talent along the offensive line. The pick here is Zion Johnson from Boston College, a player who could play inside or out on this Bengals OL, depending on where they upgrade this offseason.

Edge. Detroit Lions. Jermaine Johnson. 32. player. 50.

The final pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft belongs to the Detroit Lions, but not because they won the Super Bowl. Thanks to the Matthew Stafford trade, the Lions hold the Los Angeles Rams’ first-round pick, and they bring in an elite edge rusher to close out the first round.

That edge rusher is Jermaine Johnson from Florida State, a player who could end up going in the first half of the first round when all is said and done. He put on a show at the Senior Bowl, and if he continues his strong draft season, he could be long gone by the time Detroit picks, making him a steal in this mock.
