Offensive Tackle. New York Jets. Ikem Ekwonu. 4. player. 30.

The New York Jets will pick at No. 4 and No. 10 overall this April, which is a good thing considering how bad this franchise has been for quite some time. With Robert Saleh heading into his second season as the head coach, changes need to be made on both sides of the ball, and luckily for them, they have these two top-10 picks.

Last year, the team made Zach Wilson the No. 2 overall selection, and this year, they should look to add some more protection for him upfront. Teaming Ikem Ekwonu with Mekhi Becton at the two offensive tackle spots should give Wilson the confidence he needs to stand in the pocket and deliver the ball downfield the way he did at BYU.

5. player. 31. . Offensive Tackle. New York Giants. Charles Cross

Sitting with the No. 5 overall selection, new general manager Joe Schoen needs to make sure he gets this pick right. Not only does he have this pick, but he and his New York Giants select two picks later, so this is a draft that can make or break the future of this Giants franchise.

Daniel Jones is still someone who the Giants do not know what they have with, so getting better along the offensive line to aid in his development is crucial this offseason. Charles Cross is seen by many as arguably the most talented offensive tackle in this draft class, and he fills an immediate void along this Giants offensive line.

player. 87. . Quarterback. Carolina Panthers. Malik Willis. 6

When it comes to the quarterback position, the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine is going to go a long way in players separating themselves from the rest. One player who did a good job of that during the Senior Bowl was Malik Willis, and I believe he will be the first signal-caller off the board this April.

Waiting for Willis to fall at No. 6 overall is the Carolina Panthers, who have a gaping hole at the quarterback position going into next season. Sam Darnold and Cam Newton are not the answer, so why not select a quarterback at No. 6 in the first round and hand him the keys to the franchise.
