March Madness 2022: Full NCAA Tournament bracket revealed

March Madness is here and the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket has been revealed as we know which 68 teams will vie for the title and their respective paths.

Conference tournaments have been completed, bid thieves have stolen their spots in the big dance and some March Madness heroes have already started to emerge. Now it’s time for the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Entering conference tournaments, barring something truly crazy, it seemed like a clear path for most of the No. 1 seeds. As teams like the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Arizona Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks took care of business, that meant much less drama coming into Selection Sunday.

However, there were still numerous surprises that shook up the 2022 NCAA Tournament field, really getting the March Madness spirit flowing through fans. Virginia Tech upending Duke in the ACC was massive, but more quietly so was a team like the Richmond Spiders upsetting Davidson in the A-10 to steal a spot from a bubble team as an automatic bid.

All of that led to this — the official beginning of March Madness now that the 2022 NCAA Tournament bracket has been revealed.

Here we go, let’s take a look at the 68-team field for March Madness and the entire 2022 NAA Tournament bracket.

The West Region:

The South Region:

The Midwest Region:

The East Region:

After the way conference tournaments played out, there was little drama about the No. 1 seeds. The Zags were a shoo-in for the top overall seed in the tourney while Arizona and Kansas secured that spot and Baylor’s résumé, despite an early Big 12 Tournament exit, was still too impressive to overlook.

As always, there are fan bases that will surely believe that their teams should’ve been in the field of 68. This season and the conference tournaments, however, seemed to really separate the deserving teams from those that weren’t quite up to snuff pretty well.

What’s certain, though, is that nothing is certain given what we’ve witnessed this season. The parity throughout college basketball has been incredible, which makes you think that fans could be in store for a truly special and wild March Madness run.
