The Arkansas Razorbacks knocked the Gonzaga Bulldogs out of March Madness in the Sweet 16 but they may have had help from the refs to do it.

No. 1-seed Gonzaga came into the 2022 NCAA Tournament with hopes of securing their first ever national championship.

They’ll leave on Thursday night disappointed once again thanks to an upset by No. 4 Arkansas.

Fans of college basketball are used to watching the Bulldogs bow out ahead of schedule but this time there were many who felt the playing field wasn’t exactly level.

One of the key moments of the game involved Gonzaga star center Chet Holmgren fouling out on a questionable call.

Not everyone agreed that the refs screwed Gonzaga though. Plenty of people on Twitter pointed out the areas that the Bulldogs struggled to match up with the Razorbacks.

Whether you think Gonzaga was dealt a tough hand or Arkansas imposed their will, the result is final.

The Razorbacks are heading to the Elite Eight and the Bulldogs are heading home.

Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman has now taken his team to their second-straight Elite Eight appearance. They’ll now way for the outcome of the game between No. 2 Duke and No. 3 Texas Tech to learn their opponent.
