Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory
We go from one celebrity match to another.
During the much-anticipated interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Vince McMahon offered McAfee a match at WrestleMania. When it was accepted, McMahon revealed that it would be against an opponent of his choosing.
McAfee’s opponent was none other than Austin Theory, McMahon’s protege. Theory slapped the headset off McAfee’s head on numerous occasions. The sports media star did get his revenge, attacking Theory on a show and cost him a match against United States Champion Finn Balor on March 21.
When it comes to the match itself, McAfee has shown during his run in NXT in 2020 that he is solid in the ring. He should have a good match with Theory. When it comes to who wins, the choice is Theory.
Winner: Austin Theory
Raw Tag Team Championships: RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis)
The team of Randy Orton and Riddle, aka RK-Bro were Raw Tag Team Champions from SummerSlam last year until this past January, when they lost to the Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis). Orton and Riddle did win them back on March 7, defeating Alpha Academy and Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in a triple threat match.
During a celebration on March 14, the Street Profits challenged RK-Bro to a match for the titles at WrestleMania, which was accepted. Later in the night, a match between Riddle and Montez Ford ended in a no-contest after Alpha Academy attacked both teams. They were later added to the match at WrestleMania.
On the final Raw before WrestleMania, the Street Profits attacked RK-Bro during their match against the Uso’s, but the champions stood tall after hitting both with the RKO.
While RK-Bro just won the tag team championships, the Street Profits will win them for the second-time.
Winners: The Street Profits
