47. Pick Analysis. Offensive Tackle. Penn State. 175. player. Scouting Report. Rasheed Walker

Every team could use some flexibility and depth on the offensive line, and the Patriots are no different. Rasheed Walker has been playing against the great size of the Big Ten for three seasons. He is massive and might be one of the biggest players in the entire NFL Draft. The Patriots could do something great with Walker. The Patriots may have to use their fourth-round pick on him or trade up to get him, but some mock drafts have him available in the fifth round and the Patriots should bounce on that.

Scouting Report. Safety. Auburn. Pick Analysis. Smoke Monday. 200. player. 47

Smoke Monday plays the safety position with an edge that will really help him in special teams before he can try and break the lineup. The Patriots just signed Jabril Peppers to join Devin McCourty and Adrian Phillips. Getting Monday this late in the draft gives them a player who has a different type of play than the other three. He will hit you. Hard. His physicality would add a different aspect to the position and give the Patriots a good special teams player.

Penn State. Drew Hartlaub. 210. Pick Analysis. Special Teams. player. 47. Scouting Report

Again, back to special teams. The Patriots love to find specialists, and the special teams ace they got in Matthew Slater is one of the best in the league. He’s incredibly fast and would immediately take one of the Patriots’ gunner positions. The Patriots would get a player who knows what he’s supposed to be, and he will be in that position for the long term.
