2. Will Fuller

Will Fuller’s 2021 season with Miami was completely lost due to injury. In just the two games he appeared in, he caught four passes for 26 yards. The outcome of the one-year deal Fuller signed with Miami was disappointing for both sides, as Miami never got the explosiveness they were hoping to get out of Fuller, and Fuller now heads into another free agency having not played meaningful football in nearly two years.

However, when Fuller is healthy, he’s one of the more explosive players in the NFL. This is especially important for Packers’ fans to realize, considering they just lost their deep threat in Valdes-Scantling. Packers’ head coach Matt LaFleur had even stated that the team is in need of a guy that can take the top off of defenses.

Fuller’s career average in yards per reception is 14.7 yards, which is comparable to Valdes-Scantlings’ 17.5 yards. This tells me that Fuller is a guy capable of filling that burner role, especially at what will likely be a discount considering his injury-plagued 2021.

Fuller would be an excellent, cheap addition to the Packers’ offense and would give Rodgers a deep threat that he will desperately need this season.
