The Masters 2022: When does Tiger Woods play today?
By Mark Powell
When does Tiger Woods tee off at the 2022 Masters? Despite not being in the running for another green jacket, Woods will play in the final round.
Entering the round at +7, Woods doesn’t have a chance to win The Masters this time around. However, given everything he’s been through since a car accident nearly took his life just over a year ago, the fact he’s even walking 18 holes repeatedly at Augusta National is an accomplishment in itself.
So, for fans trying to watch Tiger walk those same 18 holes one more time at The Masters in 2022, when should they check in?
Right about…well looks like he’s teed off!
Tiger Woods tee time
Woods teed off at 10:50 a.m ET, as he’s not close to the lead pairing at the moment. Even should he make a memorable run on Sunday, it’s highly unlikely he even reaches the same stratosphere as Scott Scheffler, who enters the day at -9.
Tiger will be playing with PGA Tour veteran John Rahm on Sunday.
Woods bogeyed the opening hole in the third round, and then another double-bogey on the front nine put a huge dent in any hopes of making a run.
However, making the cut is a victory in its own right for a man who — despite having astronomical expectations for himself — ought to take solace in being able to play competitive professional golf once again.
Give it some time, Tiger.
