Aaron Rodgers has ‘all the feels’ about Randall Cobb’s Packers return video

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wideout Randall Cobb have been back together at Lambeau for a year now, but it still feels brand new.

Cobb returned to the frozen tundra — where his career began — in 2021 in part due to the request of Rodgers, who wanted his good friend and target back as a Packer. That request worked, and the two teamed up for limited production last season.

The 31-year-old caught 28 balls for 375 yards and five touchdowns.

In the end, the return of Cobb made Rodgers more comfortable himself, and was the first of many decisions the Packers front office made to put their quarterback first. A previously frosty relationship between Rodgers, Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur grew over time, in part because the front office finally listened to No. 12 and delivered.

On Sunday, Cobb tweeted an inspirational video detailing his journey back to Green Bay. The Packers quarterback Rodgers couldn’t help but comment.

All the feels, indeed. Cobb and Rodgers are incredibly close, so it’s no surprise the quarterback feels some sort of way about this.

What should Packers expect out of Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb next year?

Cobb is a year older, and as a wideout that’ll have a tremendous impact on the wear and tear on his body. But, considering he played in just 12 games last season, and uptick in his numbers is to be expected.

The Packers are without Davante Adams, meaning Rodgers will have to find other options he’s more comfortable with.

Green Bay is working around the clock to provide him with just that, but to begin the season, he could be inclined to go back to a familiar face in Cobb in critical moments rather than test his new connections.
