Philadelphia Phillies fans mocked the New York Mets following their 5-4 comeback win on Monday.

The Philadelphia Phillies were seemingly headed for their second loss of the season on Monday night at the hands of the New York Mets. Alec Bohm had three fielding errors, and the team trailed 4-0 entering the bottom of the eighth inning. But then, something magical happened.

Philadelphia scored five runs in the eighth and closed things out in the ninth to earn the 5-4 victory over New York.

Phillies fans were ecstatic after the Mets blew the lead, and decided to troll their division rivals on Twitter.

The Mets started the game strong in the first inning, scoring three runs on Brandon Nimmo scoring on a Pete Alonso groundout and RBI singles from Eduardo Escobar and Mark Canha. New York extended their lead to 4-0 on an RBI single by Francisco Lindor.

Philadelphia started off the bottom of the eighth on Bohm getting walked. Then, the runs arrived. Bohm scored after Kyle Schwarber grounded into a force out to cut the deficit to 4-1. Then, catcher J.T. Realmuto hit a two-run home run to bring the Phillies within one run. Philadelphia took the lead after RBI doubles by Rhys Hoskins and Didi Gregorius.

The Phillies will enjoy this victory, while the Mets look to get a win back on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. ET.
