Carolina Panthers wideout Robby Anderson has let the world know he’s rocking with Sam Darnold and not Baker Mayfield.

If you’ve been following Carolina Panthers wideout Robby Anderson closely on social media, you know by now that he wants nothing to do with quarterback Baker Mayfield. The Panthers have been linked with a potential trade for the former No. 1 pick, but not everyone is on the Mayfield bandwagon.

Anderson doubled down on his feelings for Mayfield on Twitter, posting quite the subtweet to once again let people know he’d rather catch balls from Sam Darnold.

Robby Anderson isn’t shying away from his Baker Mayfield hate

From the looks of all his recent comments, it seems as though Anderson would much rather be playing with Darnold as his signal-caller. Mayfield is waiting patiently to see what the future has in store for him.

From the moment the Browns traded for Deshaun Watson, rumors have been flying all over the place on Mayfield. The Seattle Seahawks reportedly have interest in landing him, but there hasn’t been much movement in talks between the two sides.

The Seahawks themselves traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos this offseason in a blockbuster move. As of now, it looks like Drew Lock will be the one to run the offense for head coach Pete Carroll, but not many fans in the Pacific Northwest are excited about that going down.

The same could be said for people in Carolina, as Mayfield wouldn’t bring much excitement to the team. If you ask Anderson, he wouldn’t touch Mayfield with a 10-foot pole. If the front office does move ahead with a trade for Mayfield, things will be incredibly awkward in that locker room when the two cross paths.
