Joel Embiid talked a lot of smack to Drake after giving the 76ers a 3-0 series lead over Drizzy’s Raptors.

Joel Embiid broke the hearts of Toronto Raptors fans on Wednesday night with his game-winning 3 in the final second to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a commanding 3-0 series lead in the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs.

He made sure he talked some s**t afterward too.

Embiid is likely to take home the NBA MVP award for the first time in his career and made sure to rub it in the face of the Raptors’ No. 1 celebrity fan, Drake immediately after he became the biggest villain in Canada.

Joel Embiid talked trash to Drake after game-winning shot to beat Raptors

“I’m coming for the sweep too, Embiid exclaimed!”

Like Reggie Miller before him to Spike Lee, Embiid talking his s**t to Drake is part of what makes him such an affable superstar.

Embiid has earned the right to talk all the trash he wants after his career year and after he put the 76ers on his large shoulders. James Harden had a night to forget after fouling out. It looked like Embiid might be the goat too after missing a chance to end it in regulation but like Lloyd Christmas in Dumb & Dumber after trading in the van for a scooter, totally redeemed himself with the winner in overtime.

Embiid was overjoyed after sinking his first game-winning or game-tying shot in the end of a fourth quarter or overtime in his career.

Embiid might be the most likable player in the NBA, certainly on the shortlist, and easily the best center the NBA has seen since the days of Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O’Neal.
