Every NBA team’s most prolific dunker from the 2021-22 season

8. Los Angeles Lakers (403 total dunks) — Anthony Davis: 111 dunks
For as much as they were ridiculed for being the oldest team in the league (and rightfully so), the Lakers still managed to make it into the top-10 in total dunks, thanks in the largest part to Anthony Davis racking up 111 dunks in just 40 games. AD’s 2.8 dunks per game average was second-best in the NBA season, trailing only the player who led the league in total dunks, and it was his highest dunks per game average since the 2017-18 season (his one Pelicans season with Rondo).
The Lakers player with the second-most dunks this season was, of course, LeBron James. LeBron’s 85 dunks tied for the third-fewest dunks of his illustrious 19-year career due to playing 56 games, which is also his third-fewest amount of games played in a season.
