The Milwaukee Bucks made quick work of the Bulls in the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs and now advance to the second round. Who do they play next?

Many NBA fans saw it coming, but the Milwaukee Bucks made quick work of the Chicago Bulls in the first round in the Eastern Conference of the 2022 NBA Playoffs. They advanced to the second round with a 4-1 series victory after winning Game 5 by a count of 116-100.

Now, the defending champions are moving on to the next round as they have hopes of making it back to (and winning) the NBA Finals.

But who is next on the docket for the Bucks?

Bucks playoff schedule: Second round opponent in 2022 NBA Playoffs

Milwaukee will face the Boston Celtics in the second round of the postseason in the East.

Boston advanced after being the only team to sweep their opponents, the Brooklyn Nets, in the first round. Interestingly enough, there could’ve been this matchup in the second round last year but it was Brooklyn that beat the Celtics then and went on to lose to the Bucks.

Having said that, Boston has looked quite impressive behind Jayson Tatum’s superstar performance through the first four games of the playoffs. How they match up with Giannis Antetkounmpo and the defending champs, particularly with Khris Middleton still out due to an injury, in the next round.
