Braves trade rumors: Freddy Tarnok

At 23, Freddy Tarnok was the Braves’ third-round pick of the 2017 draft and is now ranked as the 12th top prospect in the organization. He is currently playing with the AA squad.

He’s had a rough start to his 2022 season but has plenty of possibilities. Tarnok has pitched 11 innings in three games. He’s given up ten hits, six runs, and eight walks while striking out 12. About 48.4% of Tarnok’s pitches induce fly balls.

Considering his rough start and equally rough time in the minors, Tarnok might be a good trade target for a team looking to develop a young arm for relief pitching who could use a change in scenery.
