1. The Red Sox prospect Triston Casas should be called up next.

The time has come for Triston Casas. The left-handed swinging slugger looks ready for The Show. Casas led Team USA in home runs and RBIs during the Tokyo Olympics last season and he’s gotten off to a red-hot start with Triple-A Worcester this season.

Casas is currently hitting .262/.388/.500 with a wRC+ of 133. Casas has five home runs and 16 RBIs on the young season and a 16.5% walk-rate. Casas has the type of raw power that few in the game of baseball actually possess, but he doesn’t get home run happy – constantly swinging for the fences.

Instead, the 22-year-old possesses strength under control which has allowed the first base prospect to keep his K/BB under 1.00 throughout his minor league career.

With Bobby Dalbec off to a horrendous start in 2022, it would be easy Triston Casas slide into the starting lineup and provide some addition pop to an already loaded Boston Red Sox lineup.

Boston lost Kyle Schwarber to free agency this past offseason, but a bat like Casas’ might provide very similar power from the left side of the plate. I’m not sure how much longer the Red Sox will be able to keep Casas on the farm.
