2023 NFL Mock Draft: Texans reboot at QB in ‘way-too-early’ 2023 Mock
By Brad Weiss
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could very well be going into the 2023 season with Tom Brady still as their quarterback, but that does not mean they are set at the position. The truth is, they will eventually need a successor in Tampa Bay, and if they are not sold on Kyle Trask, they could get one at pick No. 31 overall.
From South Bend to Boston College, Phil Jurkovec has established himself as a potential pro prospect at the quarterback position and could be a first-round guy when all is said and done. He plays with tremendous passion and has the size you need at the next level, and a ton of arm strength to go along with it.
Based on the Super Bowl odds, it looks like the early favorite is the Buffalo Bills, who nearly made it to the AFC title game last season. Buffalo would hold the final pick of the first round if the oddsmakers are right, and with the selection, they continue to stack talent around quarterback Josh Allen.
Cooper Beebe is going to be one of the top interior offensive linemen in next year’s draft class and rounds out the first round here. He is big, quick, and versatile, so look for him to at least be a second-round pick next April.
