1. The Steelers will sign Duane Brown

One position the Steelers didn’t aggressively address via the draft was offensive tackle. In particular, Dan Moore’s ability to protect the quarterback’s blind side from the left tackle spot should be a concern for everyone in Pittsburgh.

That’s precisely why the Steelers should be the team to pluck Duane Brown off the free agency market. He’s not a long-term solution at age 37, but he can help keep Pickett upright during his crucial rookie campaign. His pass-blocking prowess should make him an attractive signing for the Steelers.

Some fans might say signing Brown would be a waste for a team that should be focused more on development than winning games next year. The truth is they need to forge a quality offensive line to know what they have in the form of Pickett and their young receivers. No offensive players are going to shine if the quarterback isn’t protected.
