1. Must-win games for the Dallas Cowboys – At Los Angeles Rams

It’s not a shock that the most important game on the Cowboys’ schedule comes against the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Los Angeles Rams are the unquestioned measuring stick for the rest of the league after defeating the Bengals in Super Bowl 56 at SoFi Stadium to win it all.

Head coach Sean McVay turned down expensive TV offers to remain as the Rams’ head coach since he knows that Los Angeles is in a position to repeat. An excellent core led by quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp and cornerback Jalen Ramsey gives the Rams the kind of star power that is tough for opponents to match.

The Cowboys didn’t play the Rams last season but lost to them 20-17 in Week 1 of the 2020 season, which marked the grand opening of SoFi Stadium. That is also the site of this year’s game, where there will be fans in attendance this time, and Dallas could get a huge boost from their fan base since the Rams have had trouble with seeing SoFi get overrun by visiting fans from teams that travel well.

This game is undoubtedly the most important one on Dallas’ schedule since it could well determine who gets home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Finding a way to win this tough road game against the defending champs would say a lot about the Cowboys’ potential to finally add another Lombardi Trophy to their collection.
