Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Two teams in Los Angeles are must-win situations for the Denver Broncos in the Rams and, of course, the Chargers.

This matchup is a division showdown, so the goal is to split this series, but if they could sweep the Chargers, it would give Denver a lot of confidence.

Russel Wilson will go head-to-head with Justin Herbert, but Wilson’s experience outweighed Herbert’s abilities — he will be the difference maker in this game.

Having a quarterback who can make plays, but knows the game at the level that Wilson does, is such a positive thing to have.

Denver has won four of the last six matchups against the Chargers, but getting a sweep in 2022 would be a huge positive moment for the Broncos.

Herbert is 2-2 against the Broncos, which isn’t great or bad, so it’s time for Wilson to show the younger quarterback what it’s like to play against an elite-level signal caller.

Getting the sweep could decide third and last place in the division, and right now, the Broncos need to focus on doing better than what they put on the field in 2021. The Chargers went 3-3 in the division last year while the Broncos went 1-5, so if Denver can do their jobs against this division rival, it could shift the standings into the Broncos’ favor.
